Developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the SAS 70 audit is an independent, in-depth examination of a service organization’s environmental, processing and information security controls.

SAS 70 requires detailed descriptions of the control processes in place within an organization and satisfactory testing of those controls. In accordance with the audit, ASC updated its internal Security and Control Policies/Standards Manual. The detailed procedure manual covers a variety of key control areas, including access security and password control; controls for receiving customer data; physical premises security; antivirus measures; and disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
